What's the Difference?
What's the difference between the DRYERASE item type and the dry-erase surface attribute?
DRYERASE (Product Type)
The DRYERASE item type is reserved for items that are or are for working with dry-erase materials. For the most part, this item type is only used for:
- Dry-erase boards
- Dry-erase markers
- Dry-erase erasers & cleaners
Dry-Erase Surface (Attribute)
Many items have a dry-erase surface. For example, there are dry-erase nameplates, dry-erase workbooks, and dry-erase pocket charts. However, the primary function of these items are nameplates, workbooks, or pocket charts.
Ask yourself:
- "If I could only put this in one spot in my store, would I put it with the nameplates? or the dry-erase markers?"
- "If the words 'dry-erase' weren't in the title, is it more similar to other nameplates? or more like dry a dry-erase board?"
