Why is Price Editing Disabled?

Depending on the products that you load into the editor, price editing may be disabled. This is usually because the products you've loaded have different sources (vendors).

Only load products that have identical sourcing to enable price editing.

A Visual Explanation

Imagine the following scenario: Four products are loaded into the editor.

• Some are available from Carson-Dellosa
• Some are available from TREND
• Some are also available from Educator's Resource, while others are not

One of the TREND products that's available from E.R. is the template product.

If you were allowed to edit pricing, all four products would be updated to match the template product.

The result would look like this:

All four products are now incorrectly "sourced" from TREND and E.R. with inaccurate pricing.

The sourcing for all products loaded into the editor must be identical for price editing to be enabled.
