Rank

Each item is ranked by two criteria:

* The company-wide rank is not the average of individual location ranks. Since it is not an average, the term "average rank" is no longer used.

Only items with min and max values > 0 are ranked.

Rank is assigned according to the quantity Sold YTD.

If items have the same Sold YTD value, the algorithm next considers quantity Sold Historical (usually the same quarter last year).

If there is still a tie, the algorithm next considers quantity Sold BTS.

If the tie is still unresolved, the algorithm compares the quantity Sold Over the Last Two Weeks.

The algorithm next considers quantity Sold Recently (usually the last 28 days).

Next the algorithm considers quantity Sold Over Five Years to Date.

If needed, the algorithm looks at Last Sold Date (items sold more recently rank better).

Finally, the algorithm looks at Last Received Date and then First Received Date (items received more recently rank better).

As a last resort, rank is assigned by SKU in alphabetical order (extremely rare that it gets to this point).

If an item has zero sales during all of the above ranges, then a rank of null is assigned to the item.
