Deleting an Item from CounterPoint

Step 1:

Ensure on hand, on order, transfer in, and transfer out quantites are all zero (they also must not be negative).

Set the TLS Status (ATTR_COD_4) = REMOVE.

Optionally set the Status (STAT) = Discontinued if applicable.

Will the Item be "Replaced" With a New SKU?

Follow the steps for Merging & Renumbering CounterPoint Items

Especially adding the old SKU as an ALT_ITEM barcode to the new SKU's barcodes.


Step 2:

Wait for CP+ to be updated. (usually on Mondays).

AFTER CP+ has been updated, the TLS Status in CounterPoint will be updated by CP+ to PURGE.


Step 3:

Delete only item(s) with a status of PURGE.
